Roles and permissions are fundamental concepts in access control and authorization systems. In Salus, they are used to manage who can do what within an organization. There are currently four roles in Salus:

1. OWNER
2. MAINTAINER
3. DEVELOPER
4. VIEWER

Change Member Roles

To edit the role of an existing member:

• Navigate to the members tab in the sidebar.
• Click on the edit icon for the member whose role you want to adjust.
• Select the role you want to apply to the member
• Salus currently offers four main roles for its members. The roles are owner, admin, developer, and viewer.
• Select the role you would like to apply to the member in question.
• Click the “Save” button.

Updating User Role

To apply any updates or modifications to your user role, you will be required to log out and log back in. This action is only required if you are currently logged onto Salus Cloud.

If you are already logged out, just log back in and your user role will be updated accordingly.
